Notes
This is a limited edition mono boxed 4LP set put out by Columbia Record Club. The catalogue number R4M 5015 is on the side of the box. But, nowhere on the box does it indicate who the record company is. The box front has a large '80' on it and there are dance scenes in the two hollows of the "8". In the hollow of the "0" are the words: Biggest Hits by the stars who made them famous". Outside of the '80' are the names of the artists in different colored letters on a black background. The box rear is plain black. Each of the four records has ten tracks per side, and has its own title - Record 1 is called "20 Spotlight Hits" and is on the Columbia Record Club label. Record 2 is called "20 Orignal Winners of 1964" and is on the Roulette Record label. Also, records 3 & 4 are on Roulette; Record 3 being titled "20 All-Time No. Hits", while Record 4 is titled "20 Big Boss Favorites". Each sleeve also has the titles on the front and showing each selection (artists and their songs). The reverses of the sleeves are plain.

Each record has its sides numbered 1 & 2 and not 1 through 8 like so many other boxed sets of 4. With this in mind when I received this album I thought it to be 4 mismatched records stuffed into a box. Recently I did some research and found several others on the net. Different Category's have been found (e.g. R4M 5016 and R4S 5016) but, they all have the same contents and criteria.

Madonna made music videos a marketing tool and was among the first to make them an artform. Many of her songs topped charts around the world, such as: Like a Virgin, Papa Don't Preach, La Isla Bonita and Like a Prayer. She had five top ten hits from the album. By 1980, the disco genre, largely dependent on orchestras, was replaced by a lighter synthpop production, which subsequently fuelled dance music. Various older rock bands made a comeback. Bands originating from the early to mid-1960s such as The Beach Boys and The Kinks had hits with Kokomo, Come Dancing and Do It Again. Title: The Biggest Bundle of Them All 1968. Springsteen, who was susceptible to his own depressions, had for his part sunk into an existential crisis following the tour to promote his fifth album, The River. He articulated as much on his next record, 1982s Nebraska, a stark, solemn collection of songs that sounded like whispered moans in the dead of night. Although lacking the chart hits of Screaming For Vengeance from two years earlier, its songs were robust and stirringly performed. The greatest AOR album of all time, Journeys first US No. 1 made them stadium-filling superstars. Its impossible to resist such lachrymose blockbusters as Dont Stop Believin, Stone In Love, Whos Crying Now and Open Arms. Please use a supported version for the best MSN experience. The entire concept came from Taylor, who explained to Q Magazine in 2011: We had done some really serious, epic videos in the past, and we just thought we'd have some fun. We wanted people to know that we didn't take ourselves too seriously, that we could still laugh at ourselves. I think we proved that. Typically the DJs would dress up as various pop stars. I remember at one particular finale I was dressed as Freddie Mercury in that video. It does tend to stick in the mind
